ERV Revisions
The Louisville District, USACE awarded the contract for mechanical services to make modifications and additions to the existing HVAC systems. The original building construction was completed in 2014.
The work for this project included removal of existing Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV) that serve the majority of the building. The existing ERV's were replaced with new ERV's that include mechanical cooling and total energy recovery wheels. The new units are split systems heat pump units connected to new exterior pad mounted air-cooled units.
The new work included electrical removals associated with the ERV removals as well as new power for new indoor and outdoor units.
