The Charleston District, USACE, awarded the contract for construction services to plan and execute the design and construction for the Design-Build upgrade of equipment at three central energy plants (CEPs) at Fort Jackson. The project consists of three individual upgrade tasks:
Upgrade boiler controls at CEPs 1 and 2;
Upgrade condenser water pumps at CEPs 1, 2 and 3;
Upgrade thermal energy storage tank configuration at CEP 2.
